Drug and alcohol rehab is the reason that I’m still on this planet. Well, drug rehab is the reason, really. I never went to alcohol rehab, but I did have this terrible drug problem that needed taking care of. I was a champion coke head. Oh yeah, I was totally messed up on blow. I did blow every day for every year after my divorce. It was quite a ride. I can’t remember a day that ever went by without a toot here and a toot there. I was tooting all over the place. I was tooting so much that i could have been a damn horn. Coke was my only friend after I divorced my ex-bitch. I mean my ex-wife. I had no one to talk to and all that I could do was coke. Drug and alcohol rehab is what people do when they are in this kind of situation, whether it be with drugs or alcohol. That’s what they are there for and they do their job well. Drug and alcohol abuse can feel like the right thing to do at times, but they only lead down dark paths to oblivion. Don’t make the same mistake that I and countless others have made. If you have a problem with drugs and alcohol you know what you need to do. Get it done.

Drug and alcohol rehab ain’t for everybody. No it’s really not. First of all, it was made for people who have drug and alcohol addictions. That’s the first thing. The second thing is that drug and alcohol rehab is for people who are ready to deal with the problems that they have. I went to alcohol rehab, myself. I realized, while I was on the inside, that the only people who successfully made it through the program were the people who were ready to deal with their problems. That’s really who drug and alcohol rehab programs are made for. Who else would go to an alcohol or drug rehab? Although being a drug addict or an alcoholic is already torture enough, going to rehab without being ready could be the worst torture imaginable. Rehab is hard. And no matter how badly a person wants to get through it successfully, it’s never a piece of cake. It’s something that takes a hell of a lot of work and it is only effective if you come to put in the necessary work. That’s what I did and that’s how I made it through alcohol rehab successfully. You could make it through drug and alcohol rehabilitation too if you come to work. Good luck.

Imagine that you have a problem that you can’t get rid of. Just try to imagine it. Imagine that you have this problem and your problem is the kind of problem that can ruin a person’s life, and the lives of their friends and/or family members. Imagine that this problem is a raging drug addiction. Not so good, huh? I had a problem like that. My problem or my drug addiction was ruining my life and the lives of my friends and family, as well. It sucked royally. I knew that what was happening to me was destroying everything. I wanted to stop but I just couldn’t. That’s when I went to drug treatment. Drug treatment took away the pain that I was suffering from and made it possible for me to get my life back. I can never truly express how great it was to know that there was someone out there who cared enough to help me recreate my life and become the man that I wanted to be. Drug treatment got me back into the game and helped me save my life from utter ruin and I will never forget that. Thank God for the wonder that is drug treatment.

I could regale you about all the bad things that happen to people who suffer from alcoholism. I could run down the list of symptoms to look out for when you think that someone you know, or you, yourself, are becoming an alcoholic. I could do a lot of things, but I’m not going to do any of that. What I am going to tell you is that if you or a loved one is having an alcohol problem alcohol rehab can make you better. It can. I know because alcohol rehab helped me get back to being a regular person. I was a stone cold drunk at one time in my life and I’ll never be proud of that. It actually ended up being one of the worst points in my life and I know I’ll never be able to change that. The best part about it all was that alcohol rehab brought me back to being normal. I thought that I would die from my problem, but it was alcohol rehab that saved me. If it weren’t for alcohol rehab my life would have been ruined or I wouldn’t even be here today. Now if you’re having the same problem that I was, and only you can know if you are, then you need to get help and get it fast.

Rehab centers can save the lives of anyone that’s willing to give them a chance. My brother was one of the ones that was saved. His meth problem had been killing our family for a long time and we had pretty much had enough. It wasn’t fair. What was happening to my family was a travesty and it wasn’t all my brother’s fault. He had tried meth and it turned on him immediately. I don’t blame him for becoming hooked, it was the drug’s fault. I just wanted him to get better as soon as possible. We all did. The rehab centers I had heard about always seemed like the place that I would go if I got hooked on drugs. So why not Jimmy? He was my brother and I wanted to help him. Rehab centers are the only places to get the kind of help that Jimmy got for his addiction. His drug rehab worked beautifully and my brother has been sober for the last five years. That’s why I know that anybody could get help from the rehab centers because they did it for Jimmy.

I once had a prescription drug addiction and it was no joke. I never really thought it could happen to someone like me, but it did. A prescription drug addiction can happen to anyone is what I was told. Some people just hooked on the drugs that were either prescribed for them or they find their way into someone else’s medicine and get their fix that way. Either way it is a truly dangerous way to get your fix and prescription drug addiction is a serious thing in America. It’s numbers are actually growing exponentially and it isn’t getting easier to treat its victims. People get hooked on prescription drug addiction a lot of times because it’s easier to conceal. Let’s face it. It’s not like they’re smoking a joint or lighting up a crack pipe. If you see someone taking some prescription drugs you probably won’t assume that they’re addicted to drugs. A prescription drug addiction can ruin a person’s life and the signs can almost be undetectable. If you or a loved one are suffering from a prescription drug addiction then you know what you need to do.

Okay, alcohol rehabs are on the board right now. If you’ve ever been an alcoholic then you know how hard it is to live life with that monkey on your back. That’s how it is. Alcoholism is a monkey that is super glued to your back and ain’t coming off until you get professional help. You can do what you want and you can say what you want, but the truth of the matter is that until you do something about it it will still be right there between your shoulder blades. Alcohol rehabs are the only solace for people with alcoholism problems. Why? Because they help dufus! That’s what they are supposed to do. Frankly, alcohol rehabs don’t necessarily help everyone because nothing in this world is perfect. That’s just how it goes in the world. But, they have a great success rate. I can’t say that I remember the numbers, but I know for sure they worked for me one-hundred percent. That’ pretty good. Basically the bottom line is if you do have a problem, you don’t really stand to lose more than you are now. Which means, it couldn’t hurt to go and see what could happen if you solicited the help of alcohol rehabs. That’s how it goes and that’s how it went. You dig?
